The Department of Energy Greenbook defines guidelines for individuals who generate or review classified documents to recognize the presence of nuclear information that is potentially classified as Restricted Data or Formerly Restricted Data. The guidelines describe a set of keywords, terms, sites, and persons names. See the Greenbook at https://www.energy.gov/sites/default/files/2021-05/RD_FRD_Subject_Area_Indicators_08_2018.pdf
What about taking these keywords, sites, and persons names and implementing them as a custom IDOL Eduction grammar? We can normalize how we search and filter indexed data for these entities and provide analysts a way to identify sensitive data according to the Greenbook with contextual topic maps and parametric dashboards, such as sunburst graphs. In this video, we take a look at several of the keywords lists added as IDOL Eduction Grammars.
In a follow-up video we'll take a look at how we can quickly format these term lists into the required XML format that the IDOL Eduction compiler expects using Microsoft Excel with a series of simple functions.
